The Teen/Adult Program helps our students, at whatever stage in life they may be, to better deal with the daily stress that we all face and relax in an atmosphere of mutual respect and consideration among people striving towards common goals. Classes are enjoyable, yet serious. There is an increased emphasis on physical fitness, with extensive stretching and aerobic conditioning. Physical limitations are respected, but challenged. Students learn greater self-discipline and gain greater self-confidence and self-esteem.
All levels of techniques are taught, from traditional basics and forms, to sparring and modern self-defense. Promotion tests are offered approximately every three months. Although Master Trinidad's permission is still needed to test, part of the adult student's responsibility is to decide whether or not they believe they are ready. Emphasis is placed on the training and personal advancement rather than on attaining the next level. The final goal of all martial arts is to achieve harmony within yourself.
